
About Us
At Barossa Valley Model Aero Club (BVMAC), we welcome all MAAA members and visitors. We pride ourselves in having the most picturesque and friendly flying field in Northern Adelaide. Situated on Koch Road, Between Rowland Flat and Tanunda in The prestigious Barossa Valley, there is no shortage of serenity to absorb.
We have fantastic ammenaties for our members to enjoy. Shaded grassed pits area, club rooms, plumbed toilet and a BBQ area with stove heater that can be fully enclosed for those colder winter days.
Our club is located within the full size airstrip that is Rowland Flat airfield, home of the Barossa Airshow. We occasionaly get visits from fullsized aircraft and a skydiver or 2.
We welcome new and experienced flyers of all ages into our club and Hobby. Whether its Fixed wing or Heli, Glider or Drone, Gas, Nitro, Electric or Turbine everyone is welcome.
If your interested in learning to fly we have several qualified instructors that are happy to help you get in the air and enjoy this exciting hobby

Or just come out to the club and introduce yourself, there are members flying most Saturday and Sunday morninigs.
All of our financial members have access to the field and can fly all year round.
No flying of any models when a fire ban is declared in the Mount Lofty Ranges District.
